Why Should I register to make AUM Payment ?
When you decide to register for an online account with AUM, you will have access to many different benefits such as account management, ability to make payments, view current and past billing histories, view past and current balances, ability to sign up for E-billing, Apply for DIrect Bill Pay, and even submit questions to the friendly customer service representatives.
How do I register for an online account?
Registering for an online account is simple and will only take a few minutes of your time. You will need to have a few pieces of information available to be able to complete the signup process without difficulty. Information you will need is, your account number, statement number, and a valid email address. Your account number is located at the top of your billing statement. You can find your statement number on the top of your statement as well. It is located next to your account number. For security purposes your billing statement must be printed after June 1st 2011. When you provide your email address for account registration, note that it will only be used for account activity and any alerts if you have chosen to receive them. Will I receive a billing statement in the mail?
Unless you have chose to sign up for paperless billing you will continue to receive your billing statement in the mail. You will want to make sure that you review your bill as soon as it comes in and contact customer service with any questions or concerns you may have. You can return your check or money order payment with your payment stub in the pre-addressed envelope provided with your statement each month. It is not recommended to send cash in the mail. Be sure to allow sufficient time for your bill to arrive at the office to avoid any negative actions such as late fees or disconnections.
What About Paperless Billing?
If you are interested in signing up for paperless billing you will first have to register for an online account. Once you have you, you will have the option to sign up for paperless billing at that time. Once you have elected to use paperless billing you will no longer receive paper statements in the mail. You will want to make sure your bill is current before signing up. This will ensure there is no confusion, when your payment method changes over. When your billing statement is ready for viewing you will receive a statement electronically to the email address you provided the company when your first registered.
Can I Pay My Bill Using My Bank Account?
Yes! You can sign up for direct payments after your have enrolled for an online account. WIth direct pay you will be able to set up payment to be directly deducted from your checking or savings account. WIth this type of payment method, you will no longer have to worry with late fees, writing check, or buying any more stamps. You will want to check with your personal bank to make sure there aren’t any fees associated with using Direct Pay. By confirming this information before you sign up you will not be surprised with any charges or fees you were not previously aware of.
