If you are planning to apply for a service from REC, then you may be interested in knowing your payment options. The following are the various ways by which you can pay your monthly bill –


Online: To pay your bills online, you must first sign up for an online account. To register for an account, visit – https://secure6.i-doxs.net/RappElec/Default.aspx

Once registered, you can login and make your payments using your checking account. You also get access to 12 months of previous bills and payments. This is a very convenient option that lets you pay your bill at your convenience.

Auto Pay: Do not want to be bothered by the task of paying your bill each and every month. Then you can opt for the Auto Pay option. Under this method, your monthly bill amount will be automatically deducted from your bank account on the due date. You will receive your bill before the amount is deducted so that you can check it for any inaccuracies.


EZ-Pay: Using EZ-Pay, you can pay your bills online or by phone using your credit card, debit card, savings account or checks. This is a quick and easy payment solution. But there is a convenience fee of $2.95 per transaction. To use EZ-Pay, visit – https://secure6.i-doxs.net/RappElec/Default.aspx

By Mail: To pay through mail, send your checks to –

When making check payments, ensure that your bank has enough funds to honor the check. If the check is dishonored, then the company may charge you $20 for every returned check.


Pre Pay: This is another unique payment solution where you will be in complete control of your energy expenditures. Instead of receiving a monthly bill, the customer will pay for the electricity first. This will allow you to closely monitor your electric usage and take steps to better utilize your power consumption.

In Person: You can walk into any REC office and make your bill payments. In addition, you can also pay your bill at any Pay Site kiosks near you. However, there will be a $2.95 charge for credit card or debit card payments. Another option is to pay at any Western Union branches near your home or workplace, but you will be charged $1.50 as convenience fee for the service.

REC will charge you a late payment fee at 1.5% of the past due amount if you fail to pay your bills on time. For customers who may be going through a financially difficult time, you can check if they qualify for any energy assistance programs in your area.
