Pay By Phone: You need to enroll just once to use this service, and once it’s activated, you will be at ease. To make the payment, all you need to do is call the toll free helpline 1-800-619-7343. Provide your SDGE account details, the details of the account you got registered for pay-by-phone and your payment is done upon verification.

However, you must ensure your registered account maintains enough balance so the payment is not rejected, otherwise the service may be terminated.

Paying using Credit or Debit Cards: To make the payments via credit and debit cards, you need to use the services offered by BillMatrix. It is an authorized, but independent service provider and charges a $1.50 fee upon each transaction made.

You can either pay the bill online by visiting the BillMatrix official website or you can use the option of paying through your credit/debit card on phone. Call BillMatrix at 1-800-386-0067 and follow the instructions. Both methods require credit/debit card details and once verification is complete, your payment is made.

Pay by Mail: You can choose to mail the payments at:

SDG&E
PO Box 25111,
Santa Ana, CA 92799-5111

Make sure to send payments in time as delivery of mail may take time and late delivery of mail may mean you have incurred a penalty charge for late submission. Also, to ensure safety, only send check or bank draft via mail.

Pay in Person: There are a number of authorized offices. You can go to any location most convenient to you and make the electric bill payment using cash, check, bank draft or debit card; whatever suits you the most. Make sure you visit the office during the business hours.

You can go for any option that suits you the most, as these are all designed to ease you!
