PPL Electric Bill Pay Options
PPL serves power to a huge customer base and ensures that its customers get proper service and support. The company provides its customers a lot of convenient options to pay their electric bills. If you are a PPL customer, you can choose among the following bill payment options that you find comfortable – Automatic bill payment, online bill payment, IN-person bill payment, Bill payment by phone and bill payment by post.
Automatic bill payments: You can register for the automatic bill payments by creating an account on PPL’s website and opting for automatic bill deductions. You can also register for the service at any office of PPL. While opting for Automatic bill payments, you will require mentioning your PPL electric account details and your bank account or credit card details from which you bill amount will be deducted each month.
Online bill payments: Customers can pay their PPL electric bills online by visiting the PPL website or by directly visiting the page – selfserv.pplelectric.com/login.
You will require to create an account by providing your PPL electric details and your Email ID.
Once your Email ID is verified, you can log in to your account and pay your bills by using Credit cards, Debit cards or through electronic checks.
In-person Bill payment: Customers of PPL can pay their bill in-person with cash or check. You will need to visit a PPL payment centre near your neighborhood to pay your bills in-person. The location of these payment centers is mentioned on PPL website. While paying your bill in-person, PPL will charge you a convenience fee of $1 along with your electric bill.
Bill payment by Phone: You can pay you PPL bills through phone, by using third party phone payment service provider BillMatrix. You can call BillMatrix on 800-672-2413, where a BillMatrix customer care representative will guide you in paying your PPL electric bill through phone. You can pay on phone by using your Credit card or debit card. BillMatrix charges a fee for processing all phone paid bills of PPL from customers which you need to pay every time you pay your bills through phone.
Bill payment by Post: PPL sends its customers a self addressed return envelope along with each month’s paper bill. The envelope can be used to pay your bills by including your check or money order along with your bill stub in the envelope.
